Enroll in Private Music Lessons

Returning Students:  LOG IN HERE

To get started, please complete the Interview Lesson Form below:

When can I start? Start anytime! For private lessons, new students begin with a personal tour with a staff member so we can learn about your musical goals and determine which of our professional teachers would be the best fit.  We will then schedule an interview lesson with the recommended teacher, which is $33 for 30 minutes and must be paid at time of scheduling.  After the interview, the student can decide whether or not to enroll for the rest of the semester or interview with another teacher. To schedule your personal tour and interview lesson, please fill out the form below or contact the main office with any questions at [email protected] or 610-435-7725.

What ages can enroll? We teach all ages! Most children age 5 or older have an adequate attention span for a 30-minute lesson. CMS recommends piano or violin for beginners. These instruments give access to the full range of the musical scale, allowing the student to develop a solid foundation for future musical development.

Does CMS sell instruments or books? CMS has a limited number of books and donated instruments available for rent or purchase. The office can also refer students to reputable dealers to rent or purchase.

How do I pay for lessons? Students enroll for the semester (for a weekly lesson at a specific day and time) and pay in automatic monthly installments. CMS accepts cash, checks, and all major credit cards (in the office or through the student’s online account). For students receiving financial aid, an alternate payment plan may be arranged with approval from the director.  Please take a few minutes to review the Student Policy Agreement here.

How do I apply for financial aid? Download a PDF of the application here. Financial aid is available only for students 18 years old and younger. CMS follows Federal poverty guidelines.  Financial aid awards are valid only for the current fiscal year, and students must re-apply by August 1 each year. For new students during the school year, financial aid is approved on a rolling basis, until available funds are depleted.

Remember...  Learning a musical instrument takes time and consistant practice at home outside of your weekly lesson time.  We look forward to helping you achieve your musical goals!
